I talked about this with my friend and she says that she's too pretty and perfect to be katniss...I kind of agree, now I havent see her act so I dont know what shes going to be like on screen but they must have hired her for a reason....if she darkens her hair, looks a bit more tough and gritty and gets silver contacts I reckon she would look FIERCE...or katniss like...the girl...not the plant

I have alot to explain
ok so remember that camp I talked about last post? yer well that's where I was! :) for 5 whole weeks I was living on a farm working with my classmates 24/7. The reason I didnt explain this before I left was because I thought I would have enough time, I could just quickly pack and spend an hour or so blogging and saying goodbyee. Unfortunately it did not work out like that...I took almost 3 hours to pack, and this included getting all my stuff in the car, I had to clean my room and stuff also so it would look nice when I came back to it, basically it was a crazy day, so crazy that I forgot to eat the chocolate lollipop my mum gave me!
Anyway, I had an AMAZING time...and I would do it 3 more times if I could, I loved it so much :D
but yeah, I missed my blog so much!!! and I missed all of your posts too :) So naturally when I came back I had loads of fun catching up on all the posts, they are all soooooo goood :D

okay so no 1. I BOUGHT DOCS OMZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!
A whileeeeee ago I posted about wanting to buy a pair of Docs, I am about to go on this HUGEEE camp (more about that later) and I need some shoes that I can easily wear around and not get blisters with (hem*CONVERSE*hem) so I FINALLY persuaded my mum to get me some YAY
and they are a lovely cherry red & <3
I didn't want to get shiny, lacquered ones because apparently they are harder to break in AND the shine scratches off, and I always thought these looked lovely, and (I'm not sure why) but they always reminded me a little of the boots Katniss wears in The Hunger Games...AND (and this is where it gets reeeaaaallyyyy clever) THEY MATCH MY BLOG!!!!! So I have to find some way to incorporate that into that...
But yes & <3 them (although they haven't arrived yet) I got them NEW and CHEAP off eBay! And they should be here in a week... :D

So when I was on YouTube the other day, I noticed all these people doing stuff like 'oooh my favourite brand of makeup is MAC, TAG your it' (um yeah, and you can afford it, but I'm a blogger so I CANT) so I eventually got the hang of the whole 'tag' thing...so imma do a tag...cuz it's fun!

um...so the closest thing to me at the moment is actually my Egyptian Magic
I don't know if you guys have heard of it, but it looks like this...
It's basically an all natural, all purpose cream! (I know it says skin...but it's much more much MORE, than just SKIN)
yeah, it's only got 6 ingredients in it (and I can actually read them!) Olive oil, Beeswax, honey, royal jelly, pollen and propolis extract (and divine love...or so it says)
I got it about a week and a bit ago, I got it off eBay and it was about $40? With shipping (AUS money)
For me I don't really like using it as much, because it's basically a solid oil, you take a TINY amount and rub in between your finger tips, and it will immediately turn to oil, then you just apply it wherever you need too. Most people I've seen apply it to their face, I apply it sometimes but not so much. but I use it for EVERYTHING else.
A while ago I was at the beach and I was mucking around on this huge pipe sticking out into the ocean, and WHAM I suddenly slipped in slicing my foot open from the arch of my foot to above my ankle, it was BAD. It's scarred up now, but it's still pretty bad and itchy, so I apply it to that, and it's slowly fading! I also put it on my sisters sunburn, and the next day it was only a light pink colour! AMAZING! I also sometimes use it on the tips of my hair as a conditioner, mozzie bites, bruises, etc...I highly recommend this product, since you only need a TINY amount every day
BUT only apply it at night, because it leaves your face looking SUPER oily for a while

I'm so so sorry, I haven't been posting in a while, as you all may know school has started for me!
I just finished my second week, and MY it was HEC-TIC
but now I'm sort of in the balance of things and am getting used to mainstream school now, it has been hard going from a school with 130 people in it to a school with 3,000 people in it....
so to the point of this pooooost
not to long ago, I posted (YEAH YOU BETTER KNOW ABOUT THIS POST uhhh) about the floods and stuff happening here, thankfully, that has all calmed down now...BUT (be prepared, if you are ever planning a visit to Australia tell me so I can tell you when to go and when NOT to go)
we had a cyclone
thankfully (again) it didn't hit us, but it hit Cairns pretty bad....we called it Cyclone Yasi (the one thing I never got was the weird names they call the cyclones) but anyways, it was a level 5 cyclone (which is the highest you can get I'm pretty sure) and by midnight (on the night it hit) it was travelling at about 300km/h...

A: going through a mid-life crisis
or B: going through a Detox phase
and if you ask me, the detox sounds much more....peaceful
^^^ it's not a tent it's someone detoxing their face -.-
I think the world is getting rid of all it's ugliness and grossness and is exfoliating (like all my beauty puns? ^_^) away all that stuff, in preparation for what the Mayans called 'A New Beginning' or something with a lunar stage
but yeah, I just hope the world detoxes quickly and smoothly and that no more HORRIBLE stuff happens anymore

Totoro is this creature from a movie called 'My Neighbour Totoro' (I haven't seen it yet, but I've reserved it in the library) and it was just love at first sight (cue slow mo and sandy beaches) but yeah I saw a tutorial by bubzbeauty on YouTube and she was painting him on a mug (as you do) I SCREAMED, because it was just so adorable!!!!!

so the other day I was at a birthday party at the beach, while everyone else went swimming my friend and I went to a small park, while were we on the swings (don't you just loveee swings??)

we saw this group of little kids, and by little I mean like 8...but anyways, they were having this hugeeee debate about the fact that one of the girls owned a phone
this is supposed be them all arguing
and I was like 'Gee big deal they probably gave their kid like a used phone from the 60's or something' then the little kid turns around and she's holding the brand new IPHONE 4G!!! I mean seriously, this kid has a better phone than most of the ADULTS I know

so me thinking that this was some sweet innocent kid with some sweet innocent friends, call out to them 'HEY I LIKE YOUR PHONE' and the sweet angelic little child turns around, looks me up and down, sneers then says 'It's and iPhone 4G' and stalks off, and her posse behind her go 'yeaaah *rubs noses* it's a 4G' and saunter off into their little corner and put their little hands over their little mouths and make little snide remarks...

But yeah, this has me thinking more and more about how our world is turning out to be, the fact that little kids are being given expensive gifts and phones like that is astounding!
This year a bunch of kids from the Primary school are coming up to the high school (personally I don't understand how they can start high school, most of them are 11)
and apparently, they all got razors for Christmas! RAZORS AT 11! one of them even got her eyebrows waxed professionally, a few of them got highlights and layers, and most of them went out and bought a brand new wardrobe...
It's like a GINORMOUS version of The Pretty Committee...honestly I'm gonna go back the high school one day and find 11 year old Paris Hilton minions running around the place...
argh I know it sounds like I'm ranting (which I am) but it's just really sad that little kids are being forced to grow up to quickly, kids are supposed to be innocent to these kinds of things...it's like they were robbed of their childhood innocence :(
But anyways
My dog got a shave!!! She was all knotty but fluffy, but now that it's (finally) sunny, we thought we'd give her a summer do!

oh aaaand I also tried the Maple Taffy thingo from Madeline and Sophie! NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM
it was delish! Instead of snow I blended up some ice cubes and made something like snow...I poured the maple syrup over it and it all seemed to be working just fine, except for when I had wrapped the toffee around the Popsicle stick it was still kind of gooey, but I was hungry and wanted some sugar so I ate it anyway and it was DELISH, thanks for the recipe!!!!
